xDesign is Harvard’s annual exploration of all things design. The conference, launched in 2012, is a uniquely cross-disciplinary effort that is entirely student-run. Both the conference and the organizing student groups are not-for-profit.
Previous conferences have explored SocialxDesign ("social by design") — the role designers play in shaping the way we connect, trust, assemble, and ultimately belong in the age of new societies and technologies; InfluencexDesign ("influence by design") — the practice of design influencing the experiences of individuals, the fabric of communities, the structure of organizations, and the dynamics of systems; and more.
Although we sell 500+ tickets every year, the majority of the tickets are meant for students and are thus subsidized. We seek monetary support from sponsors to make up the shortfall thereby enabling the conference to be a self-sustaining event that can be organized every year, generating community excitement and education around design.

We would love your financial sponsorship. The conference could not be possible without the support of our sponsors. Coordinated through the Design Club at HBS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, all donations can be verified with a tax-deductible W9. If interested, contact the HBS Design club at design@studentclubs.hbs.edu.
